Farewell to the West Hills Learning Center
It is with regret that I announce that I have resigned from the West Hills Learning Center. I will not have the opportunity to say goodbye in person, and that is truly sad.
I have many fond memories of my time there and I feel blessed for the opportunities I was given.
I will miss gathering in the Rose room for the Holiday Program.
I will miss playing Mr. Fox under covers in the summer.
I will miss chatting with Deb and our office staff.
I will miss the glow of the children’s faces at the site of the guitar.
I will miss being Robot David.
I will miss pretending to be Binky the Bear and Gary the Grasshopper.
I will miss throwing the football around outdoors.
I will miss being next door to the most loving and kind teacher I have ever met.
I will miss working with some of the most dedicated lead teachers that are in the field now.
I will miss making meatballs, spilling them in my car, and then smelling like meatballs all day.
I will miss the friends I have made working there.
I will miss the families who truly have done a bang-up job as partners in their children’s education.
Most of all, I will miss the children who have affected my life in the same powerful ways that I would have hoped to affect theirs.
Thank you all for being a part of my life, it is time for me to take the next step of my career.
I will miss you all and please keep in touch.
